Our cadets gathered at the Santa Clara County Peace Officers Association Campground in Saratoga for a weekend of training, camaraderie, and outdoor adventure .
🔹 Day 1 Highlights:
- Field operations training and a trail hike with gear
- Camp setup, squad organization, and team culinary prep
- Marksmanship discussion and written test
- Escape & evasion exercise
- Fireside stories and s’mores under the stars
🔹 Day 2 Highlights:
- Hike to the range in squads
- Marksmanship qualifications alongside field ops training
- Team-prepared meals and camp clean-up
- Closing out with pickup and reflections on new skills gained
This event strengthened cadets’ discipline, teamwork, and confidence while giving them the unique opportunity to practice field skills and earn marksmanship qualifications. 💪🎯🌲
