Today, our Sea Cadets proudly participated in the Memorial Day event at Los Gatos Memorial Park, paying tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Cadets took part in the wreath procession, delivering ceremonial wreaths to designated memorial areas with respect and precision. Their presence helped underscore the meaning of the day, offering a powerful moment of reflection for all attendees.
In addition to their ceremonial duties, cadets supported the Wreaths Across America fundraising booth, helping raise awareness to support wreath placements for 2025. Their enthusiasm and professionalism were evident as they greeted community members and shared the mission of honoring our fallen veterans.
It was a meaningful experience for the cadets, many of whom expressed how much they enjoyed being part of the event and learning more about the history and importance of Memorial Day. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and to be reminded of the sacrifices made for our freedom.
